Obon Holiday Announcement – Expect Shipping Delays

This year, Most companies will be on holiday from August 10th to 18th.
Obon Yasumi is one of Japan's three major holidays, alongside Oshougatsu (New Year's) and Golden Week. During these holidays, almost every worker in Japan takes some time off, with many taking up to 9 days if public holidays align well enough with the weekends.
How will Obon Yasumi affect my Sendico order?
With workers on holiday, there will inevitably be personnel shortages across various industries, including logistics and shipping. As a result, Sendico orders will experience inevitable delays during this period.
While we will do our utmost to pack and ship your parcels as swiftly as possible with the available staff, please be aware that delays are likely due to Obon Yasumi.
Additionally, Obon will cause similar delays for other Japanese businesses, including online stores and Japan Post. This means it may take longer for items to be ordered, for placed orders to be confirmed, and for confirmed orders to arrive at our warehouse. Once we arrange for parcels to be picked up from our warehouse, there may be minor delays depending on the shipping method you selected.
We anticipate Obon to impact shipping and processing times from August 11th to August 16th, though certain shipping methods and stores may experience delays until August 20th.
Please don't worry if your parcel arrives at our warehouse a few days later than expected – this is normal during this time of year in Japan.
We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
