Japanese Summer Holiday (Obon) Shipping Schedule

As summer holiday season approaches in Japan, we'd like to let everyone know about some temporary changes to our operations.

Many Japanese couriers and businesses will be observing the annual summer holiday period, which means there will be some temporary delays across our services.

Shipping Schedule

• Final shipment before the holiday: 10th August
• No courier collections: 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th August
• Shipping will resume once courier collections restart after the holiday period.

If you'd like your parcel to leave Japan before the holiday, we strongly recommend submitting your parcel packing request as soon as possible. Requests received closer to the holiday may not be packed in time for the final shipment on the 10th.

What to Expect During the Holiday

📦 Warehouse

Our warehouse will continue accepting incoming parcels as normal, so any items delivered to us during the holiday will still be checked in.

To help prevent our outgoing shelves from becoming overloaded while couriers are not collecting shipments, our packing team will be operating at reduced capacity. As a result, parcel packing may take longer than usual.

🛍️ Purchasing & Customer Support

Our office staff will also be working at reduced capacity, so there may be delays to purchasing, order processing, and customer support during this period.

🚚 Sellers & Deliveries

Many businesses and sellers across Japan also close during the summer holidays. Because of this, some purchases may take longer to be dispatched, and deliveries to our warehouse may be delayed.

After the Holiday

Once courier collections resume, we expect a significant backlog of parcels waiting to be shipped. We'll be working hard to process everything as quickly as possible, but we kindly ask for your patience while we work through the increased volume.
