Silver Week Shipping & Service Notice 🇯🇵 19th-23rd September

Silver Week is coming up in Japan, which means Japanese couriers and many businesses will be taking some time off. Here’s what Sendico customers can expect during the holiday period.

🚚 Shipping Schedule

• Final shipment before Silver Week: September 18th
• No courier collections: September 19th–23rd
• Shipping will resume once courier collections restart after the holiday period.

If you need your parcel to leave Japan before Silver Week, please arrange your packing request as soon as possible. Requests made closer to the holiday may not be packed in time for our final shipment on September 18th.

📦 What to Expect

Warehouse:

Our warehouse will continue accepting incoming parcels as normal throughout the holiday period.

Packing:

Our packing team will operate at reduced capacity while couriers are away. This is to prevent our outgoing shelves from becoming overloaded with parcels waiting for collection.

Purchases & Deliveries:

Many Japanese businesses and sellers also take time off during Silver Week, so some purchases may take longer to be dispatched and arrive at our warehouse.

Office & Support:

Our office staff will also be working at reduced capacity, so there may be some delays with order processing and customer support.

⏳ After Silver Week

Once courier collections resume, we expect a large backlog of parcels waiting to ship. Please keep this in mind when planning your shipments, as it may take some time for everything to return to normal.
